Latvian National Museum of Literature and Music (LNMLM) inviterer til den internasjonale konferansen “Acts. Facts. Artefacts.” i Riga 27.–29. november 2025.
Temaet for årets konferanse er “Future Vision as a Key to Museum Development” markerer museets hundreårsjubileum og er en honnør til museets grunnlegger Jānis Greste (1876–1951), hvis banebrytende arbeid var med og formet museumsutviklingen i Latvia.
Museet åpner nå for forslag til presentasjoner og innsendelse av vitenskapelig poster:
We welcome presentation proposals and poster submissions from professionals working in the fields of literature, music, museology, and cultural heritage, as well as from researchers and practitioners across the humanities and social sciences. The conference will provide a rich platform for reflection, dialogue, and exchange of forward-looking practices.
Thematic sections include:
- Collection Trends: Then and Now
- Current Challenges in Collecting Music and Literary Heritage
- Vision in Restoration Work
- Visionary Thinking in Museum Practice and Curatorial Strategies
- Sustainability, Inclusive Museums, and Current Theoretical Approaches in Museology
- How Museums Adapt Historical Narratives to Future Goals
We are also pleased to introduce a poster presentation format this year under the theme: “From Vision to Exhibition: The Journey to [Exhibition Title]”.
Presentation formats:
- Oral presentation (15 minutes)
- Poster presentation (5 minutes)
